McConnell Arts Center Filmmaking Workshop by John Ondo in Worthington, Ohio.
Shelley, along with fellow actor and producer, Pat Daugherty join John Ondo's filmmaking workshop on Saturday, January 19, 2013 to share with students what it's like to be an actor in the industry. From taking acting classes, to being on set, Shelley talked about her experience with being a professional actor and emphasized the importance of working with good team-members, and trusting your director, cast and crew. Listening to industry feedback, not taking things personally, and going with the flow were three things that Shelley shared that have facilitated her success as a local actor in filmmaking.
Students had the opportunity for a Q & A with Shelley and Pat, along with reading a script and creating story-boards for a film the class will produce starring Shelley.

In May 2012, Shelley shared with all the girls at St. Mary's Middle School in St. Mary's Ohio about the freedom to believe in themselves. Giving the girls the power to be who they want to be, the right to respect themselves, the opportunity to love themselves, the opportunity to transform themselves, and the freedom to believe in themselves, the girls learn what it means to be beautiful!

Heyman Talent's Classic Hollywood Improv Actors Event
Heyman Talent held their inaugural improv actors event for the Gallory Hop in Columbus, Ohio to showcase Heyman Talent's finest improv actors.
